Smartphone cradle.

The optional cradle connects your smartphone with the Audio-System. The cradle is mechanically adjustable for a perfect fit: compatible with smartphones with screen sizes from 3.5 to 5 inches. What's more, you can charge your smartphone via the integrated USB port.

Digital radio.

The digital radio offers excellent reception quality and valuable additional information, for example about traffic and the radio channel. As transmission in digital broadcasting mode is not yet available everywhere, the digital radio automatically switches from digital to analogue reception and vice versa depending on signal strength. Of course you can also switch between digital and analogue mode manually.

The JBL sound system in the smart forfour has 2 additional tweeters, 2 further low mid-range speakers in the rear doors and total power output of 320 watts.

You can decide later: provision for radio installation has the wiring for retrofitting a radio system. It also includes an aerial, a 1-DIN slot and 2 loudspeakers integrated in the front doors – but it does not include a microphone for a hands-free system.
